Signup bonus: 45,000 points after $1,000 in 3 months. We never count unearned bonuses in savings math — a bonus you don't clear is worth zero. Plus a further 55,000 points after $500 at Hotels by Wyndham in the first 180 days (up to 100,000 total); we count only the spend-anywhere tier Bonus figure confirmed on the issuer's page 2026-09-14.

Non-cash perks

  • Wyndham Rewards Platinum elite status (Diamond in the first year)
  • 15,000 anniversary bonus points after paying the annual fee (was 7,500 pre-refresh)
  • 15,000 bonus points after 5 paid Hotels by Wyndham nights in a calendar year (capped at 15,000/yr)
  • $50 meal-delivery credit ($25 semi-annually)
  • 10% fewer points needed on award nights
  • National Car Rental Emerald Club Executive status
  • Points expire after 18 months of inactivity

Does the fee earn out? · how we got this

The $95 fee minus $0 in printed credits leaves $95/yr to earn back through rewards — roughly $3,959 of gas spending at 4x (valuing Wyndham Rewards at the same mid-range value the optimizer uses). Whether that clears depends on your actual spending.

Who this card is not for

Every point below is a term the issuer prints, read off this card's own row in our database — not an opinion about the card. two things on this card rule out a kind of spender:

  • Anyone who doesn't spend at Wyndham. Its largest printed rate, 6x on hotels, pays only at Wyndham. Anywhere else it earns its base 1x, so the headline number is a loyalty rate rather than a category rate — which is why no ranking on this site counts it.
  • Spending outside its bonus categories. Everything else earns 1x, worth about 0.6¢ per dollar at our value for Wyndham Rewards — less than the 1¢ a plain cash-back card pays on the same dollar. This card only wins where its bonus categories do.
