What this does and doesn't know

It uses the printed earn rate for the category you picked, applies any cap on that rate, converts points at one conservative published value, and subtracts a foreign transaction fee where the card charges one. It does not know how much of a cap you have already used this year, rotating quarterly categories you haven't activated, or statement credits.
